The TZ's are pure bred road racing machines. And as such, they constantly undergo changes and improvements. This bodywork made by AirTECH is a direct replacement for the twelfth body design for the TZ. After twelve times, you know Yamaha has to have gotten things well sorted. The fairing assembly was Yamaha's step into a more rounded, fluid shape. The upper has a rounder nose with a Naca intake duct in the front. The handcuff area's lines have been drastically softened. The front leading edge of the fairing has also been transformed into a more fluid shape to reduce bleed on the side of the fairing. The air intake has been shifted to the inside of the fairing assembly by the radiator and an air scoop has been added to the left side to pull air into the rear cylinders. In order to strengthen the fairing, AirTECH has taken an extra step in rolling the fairing edges and enlarging the lip. The seat assembly resembles the stock Yamaha item but the top has been slightly crowned to reduce sucking at high speed. For the upside down fork we offer a slick front fender. The rear fender is available too. Racers take note: get some of this stuff and make your bike happy. Bodywork spares are a terrific idea and they are but a phone call away. Brringg!
