A race bike may
be a spartan machine, but even a spartan machine needs some kind
of seat. Airtech can cover what your ass sits on. All of our seat
pads are cut from a medium density closed cell foam neoprene.
They have pressure sensitive adhesive on the back for simple peel-and-stick
application. After experimentation, we have developed a lasting
compound that reduces the chunking effect, which can mar the sides
of seat pads. They stand up well to use and look sharp. Give your
cheeks a break, call us.
*** Die cut pads currently not available. Select a foam
sheet below and cut your own shape:
Make a pattern to fit your seat, slice the shape out
with a razor, peel the backing off and stick the foam on your
seat, then sand the edges smooth with some 80 grit sand paper. |

FS1
Seat foam sheet 1/4" - square 12x13"
This is the thinnest seat foam we carry. This size works
great for lightweight race machines like TZ125 or RS125 when you
want to feel the tiniest bit of road surface transmitted through
the seat. Also great for thin butt pads and finish layers on upholstered
seats.
Peel & stick adhesive.

FS4
Seat foam sheet 3/4" - square 12x13"
This stuff is bitchin' for endurance racing, old farts

you have a longer seat pan (over 13"), grab the double size
below.

FS4L
Seat foam sheet 3/4" - long 12x26"
This is what you want for 9 out of 10 cafe seats. It
is tough enough to use without an upholstery and comfortable enough
for longer rides - all things are relative off course, if you
just got off your gel seat lazy boy megacruiser, you may disagree.
Visually, 3/4" is just about the perfect thickness. Run
it as a stand alone seat pad for that race look or use it as a
base for a custom upholstery job. It will not collapse like cheap
automotive seat foam!
We use this on some of our track bikes too.
Peel & stick adhesive.

FOAM2
Rock your bike quickly from side to side at a standstill and then
feel it move perceptibly as the fuel in the tank sloshes from
side to side. Our reticulated fuel cell baffling is designed to
combat this unsettling sloshing effect. It is overexpanded foam,
which when stuffed into a gas tank, will stabilize the fuel and
prevent the dreaded sloshing effect. In the event of a rupture,
the fuel flow rate is slowed too.
This foam is a 60ppi material and displaces approximately one
quart per six gallons of fuel. It is cut into 4x4x12 inch pieces,
which collapse easily and can be stuffed into the tank through
a filler cap. A normal tank will take between 6-9 pieces to
properly fill.
The factory boys have been savvy to this trick for years. Those
lucky dogs. You too, will notice the improvement immediately
when you become a lucky dog yourself.

Airbox Ductwork and Hoses
It is a scientific fact that when air speed doubles, drag increases
four times. Of course, this holds true for air box ducts too.
This means it is in your best interest to ensure that the insides
of your duct hoses are as smooth as possible.
At100 mph flow inside one of the two inch, ribbed-interior,
automotive parts store hoses is restricted to the size of a
finger because of the turbulence and drag created by the
rough walls.
Airtech smoothbore hose is constructed of a silicone high-temperature
impregnated fiberglass fabric wrapped around a steel spring.
This hose allows air to flow through unrestricted. If you are
currently using that aluminum automotive stuff, toss it and
notice the huge difference our killer duct hose can make to
airflow!
Four different sizes are usually in stock, 2", 2.25",
2.5" and 3". This stuff is sold by the foot.
Other sizes available, please call and ask.
